Saturday, August 1 marks exactly 50 years since the closing ceremony of the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal. To highlight this historic milestone anniversary, the Olympic Park Esplanade will host a free, festive variety show commemorating the Games, produced by Multicolore under the artistic direction of creative studio Hallucination Collective.

This event will bring people of all ages together, highlighting our Olympic legacy and celebrating Montreal’s vibrant sports and cultural communities. Several local artists are set to take the stage, including Loud, who is sure to wow the audience with his high-energy performance—including the official song of the 50th anniversary celebrations! Queen of the 1976 Games, Nadia Comăneci, will also be in attendance for a tribute that’s sure to score a perfect 10!

Stay tuned! More announcements will be made in the coming weeks, with a few surprises still in store for the big night.

Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind evening, filled with memories, celebration, and lots of love for Montreal!
