In conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Olympic Games in Montréal, the Vélos citoyens du MEM will be setting up near the city’s Olympic and sports facilities this summer to offer an original and participatory activity: Montréal in a box – Sports and Olympic Games special. Starting with a selection of items in the museum’s collection, animators invite the public to explore Montréal’s sports heritage, from major Olympic feats to the sports practices of citizens who enliven the city.
Through this activity, you will see how sports has shaped our collective lives and the identity of Montréal.
