The Bell Canadian Swimming Trials is the major swim meet serving as the selection process for the major international swimming competitions.

In 2026, the event will be used to select the Canadian teams that will compete at the Pan Pacific swimming championships and the Pan Pacific para swimming championships, held in California. The championships will also serve as preliminary trials for the 2028 Olympics and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.

As part of the 50th anniversary of the Olympic Games in Montréal, the event is planning to pay tribute to the members of the 1976 Olympic team, invited to attend the competitions and be honoured right at this historic Olympic pool.

Designed as a vibrant and accessible experience, the Bell Canadian Swimming Trials are destined to provide top-notch performances, memorable and emotion-filled moments and a one-of-a-kind opportunity to glimpse the up-and-coming Canadian athletes alongside the great performers that marked the sport’s history.
